MHE LEGAL ENGLISH

MHE LEGAL ENGLISH is not a law course in English. It is an English course aimed at legal professionals and students.

What I want to do is allow you to communicate your legal knowledge and expertise in English.

This is the aim of the course: to enable legal professionals to speak about the law and their work in more fluent English.

The focus is on understanding how to use the key terms, verbs, phrasal verbs, idioms, and contractual language necessary to work as a lawyer in English.

As always with this site, the aim is not only understanding but using.

The aim is for you to use this vocabulary in speaking and writing. To help with this, and to keep the content of the course fresh in your mind, I send a weekly email with exercises and other content.

The site features some specific classes on specific areas of the law, such as employment law or contractual language.
